  6. Punching The Heavy Pitch On Madden 10 Console Game

    August 29, 2010, 4:10 pm
Hey, Madden gamers, keep in mind when throwing heavy was easy? Certainly you do. For years, lobbing the golf ball to some streaking receiver worked wonders. You'd see Randy Moss double-covered along the top side... no dilemma, appropriate? Just tap the have button and attack Moss in stride towards touchdown. But in Madden 10, the full ball is distinct. Receivers have much more difficulty beating cornerbacks downfield and quarterbacks are far a smaller amount most likely to create the ideal...(read more)

  8. Could I make the girls' 7th grade basketball team?

    August 27, 2010, 8:44 pm
I am in 7th grade, and I am 12 years old. I weigh 106 pounds, and I am 5'3". I make pretty good grades in school. I tried out for the 7th grade athletic period (its like P.E, but u get athletic training, basketball skills, volleyball skills, etc.), I did not make the athletic period but the coaches said that I could still try out for whatever sport I wanted to if I didn't make it. I never played community/city/youth sport basketball either. But, I have been practicing alot. My brother who is 21, played basketball in high school and said that I was pretty good/good enough to make the team. The basket I practiced on is a bit lower than the basket at my school, but I make alot of shots. I can run fast when I have enough adrenline/want.I REALLY want to make the girls' basketball team. I am really serious about it, when I tryed out for athletics in 6th grade i wasnt serious about it, really. Now, I am.I can dribble with both hands, I am good at jump shots and free throws. I'm not good at layups, though.I currently play softball (city/youth) in the 12U division. There are about 60 girls in athletics, and they all have to try out even if they dont want too. Alot of the girls are good too. I want to make the team soooo bad. some tips would be nice!
  9. Should have offensive goaltending been called on Vince Carter in the Nets 102-100 victory over the Lakers?

    August 24, 2010, 11:01 pm
With 4:09 left in the game and New Jersey Nets up by 10 points (91-81), the officials called offensive interference on Vince Carter. I am mad because that single call almost gave the Los Angeles Lakers the game. Watching the last four minutes, the momentum would shift their way after that call. Missed free throws by New Jersey as well as this terrible call would get the Lakers back in the game. Did anyone see the game? Jason Kidd threw up an alley hoop pass to Vince Carter. The officials waived off Carter's dunk and ruled it to be offensive goaltending. It was clearly a pass to the hoop and not a shot from Kidd. Looking at the replay, there is no way that the ball had a chance to go in the hole on Kidd's pass. Had Carter left the ball alone, the ball would have probably bounced off the backcourt and came bouncing back somewhere. Did the refs make a bad call? How can they call offensive interference? Steve Francis used to kill the Lakers on alley hoop dunks all the time in his early year's with the Houston Rockets. Just to let everyone know, I am a Dallas Mavericks' fan.
